Indian cricketer KL Rahul expressed how immensely impressed he was with Rishab Shetty‘s latest film, Kantara Chapter 1. Sharing his review on Instagram stories, he commended the film for its authentic portrayal of the traditions and culture of Mangaluru. Here’s a closer look at his review.
In his Instagram stories, Rahul shared an image of the film’s title card. He expressed his awe, stating, “Just watched Kantara. Blown away by the magic @rishabshettyofficial has created yet again. All heart and beautifully represents the people and the belief of Mangaluru.” Rishab enthusiastically re-shared his comments, adding two heart emojis to show his appreciation.

KL Rahul’s love for Kantara
This isn’t the first time Rahul has shown his admiration for Kantara. In April, after leading Delhi Capitals to victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore, he celebrated by invoking moments from the film, including drawing a circle on the ground with his bat.
Later, he mentioned that this action was inspired by the film. His father-in-law, actor Suniel Shetty, praised the gesture during a commentary segment in a later IPL match, expressing that he loved it.
