Earlier this year, Clarkson made headlines when she announced her Studio Sessions residency but had to postpone the first few performances just hours before the opening night on July 4. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she revealed that the preparations had adversely affected her voice and she required rest to avoid serious vocal damage.

Fortunately, she returned the following weekend and successfully completed eight shows. However, she faced another pause in early August after sharing that her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, was gravely ill. Brandon sadly passed away on August 7 due to melanoma, a form of skin cancer.
