Senior advocate Mahesh Jethmalani, representing the children, asserted that the will appears to have been manipulated to exclude them from their father’s estate. Specific issues include the incorrect address listed for Samaira and misspellings of Kiaan’s name. Jethmalani emphasized that such errors are out of character for Sunjay Kapoor, who had a close relationship with his children. “The casualness of these mistakes is concerning,” he stated.

Furthermore, Jethmalani pointed out that the will lacks details about key assets, including property and investments. He argued that it’s not a legitimate document prepared by the late businessman.
