Kareena Kapoor Shares Taimur Ali Khan’s Aspirations in Acting

As children of famous actors grow up, fans often speculate whether they might choose to step into the same spotlight. Recently, Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan shared insights about her son Taimur Ali Khan and whether he dreams of becoming an actor like his parents, Kareena and Saif Ali Khan.

During her appearance on her sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan’s new podcast, Kareena discussed Taimur’s disposition toward art and creativity. She revealed that he has shown little interest in drama or acting so far. “Whenever I present him with options for activities at school, he always declines the idea of drama,” she stated. “I even encouraged him to give it a shot, but he politely declined, expressing that it’s not something he enjoys,” she added.

Kareena noted, “He once expressed a desire to take a cooking class because his father enjoys culinary arts. He’s not familiar with many actors. Instead, he often asks me about famous sports personalities, like ‘Are you friends with Rohit Sharma? Or Virat Kohli?’ He even requested if I could reach out to them!”

Kareena laughed off Taimur’s innocence about celebrity culture, stating that it’s amusing to see his fascination with sports figures rather than actors. For now, Taimur’s future seems bright and open-ended; he might choose to pursue cricket or culinary arts instead.

On the acting front, Saif Ali Khan is set to feature in Haiwaan, while Kareena is preparing for her upcoming crime drama, Daayra, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran.
