Parenting often involves finding a balance between being playful and setting boundaries, and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s experience is no different. Recently, she candidly revealed that their sons, Taimur and Jeh, are actually more intimidated by their father, Saif Ali Khan, than by her.

Saif’s Parenting Approach

In a heartfelt conversation with her sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan, Kareena discussed their unique parenting dynamics. She noted that fathers tend to create an environment of friendship and trust, which Saif exemplifies through activities like sports and music. “He loves playing cricket and football, and he enjoys musical activities like the guitar and drums,” she shared.

Yet, Saif also knows when to adopt a firmer stance. “We don’t usually get angry, but to get things done, I say, ‘Okay, Abba will get really angry,’ as the kids seem to fear him more than me,” Kareena disclosed.

Kareena’s Reflections and Praise

Kareena complimented Saif’s parenting skills, stating, “He’s incredibly brave, loving, and attentive. If I ever become overly protective, he reminds me to relax and be calm.” She acknowledges their complementary styles contribute to a well-rounded parenting approach.

Finding Balance in Parenting

Kareena reflected on their differing parenting styles. “Saif tends to be more relaxed while I can sometimes be a bit hyper,” she remarked. “These contrasts help us find balance in our parenting.” With Taimur being born in December 2016 and Jeh in February 2021, Kareena admitted each day presents new experiences as a first-time mother.
