In an Instagram post, Karan expressed pride in *Homebound* while celebrating its success. He criticized media interpretations of his statements, saying, “I humbly request my friends and members of the media to not misconstrue or misquote my comments on our film *Homebound*… I will always be proud of *Homebound*.”

He further stated, “It will always be one of our finest films, performed and directed with sensitivity. We are working actively to broaden its audience globally, and we’re excited about the growing domestic viewership.”
Karan also discussed profitability in his recent podcast appearance. He commented, “I made *Homebound*, which was critically acclaimed. However, I can’t guarantee my future decisions. While I’m artistic, balance with commercial success is crucial.”
