Julian McMahon, the talented Australian actor known for his roles in the Fantastic Four films, has passed away. His wife confirmed the news, expressing the profound loss felt by family and fans alike.
At the age of 56, McMahon died peacefully this week after a brave fight against cancer. This heartfelt update was shared by Kelly McMahon through a statement sent to the Associated Press by his publicist based in Beverly Hills, California.
“Julian loved life,” the statement highlighted. “He cherished his family, friends, work, and fans. His greatest wish was to spread joy to as many people as he could.”
McMahon is best remembered for portraying Dr. Doom in the 2005 movie Fantastic Four and its sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, which followed two years later.
In addition to his iconic roles in Charmed, Nip/Tuck, and Profiler, he had parts in other notable shows such as Home and Away, FBI: Most Wanted, and Another World, according to IMDb.
Alyssa Milano, who starred alongside McMahon in Charmed, expressed her sorrow on social media, stating, “Julian was more than my TV husband.”
