BTS member Jin is currently showcasing his talent in Dallas as part of his RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR. He is now approaching the latter half of his inaugural solo world tour and has only four venues left on his list. Fans are buzzing with anticipation and are curious whether an encore performance will follow the final concert in August.
However, Jin recently confirmed that there will be no encore shows due to a specific reason. He also mentioned that he has been focusing on improving his physique lately.
Why RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR Won’t Include an Encore Stage
In the wake of J-Hope’s successful HOPE ON THE STAGE FINAL Goyang encore concerts, many in the BTS ARMY were hoping for a similar finale for Jin’s Run Seokjin tour. Yet, during a livestream on Weverse on July 23, Jin put an end to the speculation, sharing there are no plans for encore stages. He explained, “Unfortunately, we failed to reserve a concert venue, so I don’t think there will be [encore shows].”
This news upset many fans, but they have tried to accept the decision understanding that Jin has already graced them with about 1.5 months of performances. Many expressed gratitude for the chance to experience the Run Seokjin tour personally.
While some fans hoped for a change in this decision, others acknowledged that the tour had been planned rather spontaneously, making venue availability challenging amidst the schedules of other major artists.
Jin’s Take on His Physique Compared to Fellow BTS Members
Aside from discussing his concerts, Jin also shared insights on his fitness regimen. He has taken to exercising in the mornings as a means to enhance his health and muscle mass. While attempting to showcase his biceps, he lightheartedly remarked, “Nothing [no muscle pump] is showing much.” He went on to say that other members questioned him about his appearance, thinking he looked more defined, while he felt he had gained weight.
He humorously pointed out that the perception of him being slimmer likely stems from the fact that his fellow members have larger arm muscles.
Are you excited to see more of Jin’s solo performances, or do you think he should have planned for an encore?
