Jessie J Faces Health Challenges Post-Breast Cancer Surgery

## Jessie J’s Ongoing Health Journey
Six weeks after undergoing a mastectomy related to her breast cancer diagnosis, Jessie J found herself back at the hospital due to persistent health issues. Taking to her Instagram, she expressed her discomfort with hospital stays, noting, “I hate being in the hospital.” Fortunately, she was reassured that her troubling symptoms were not indicative of a blood clot in her lungs.
### Recent Hospital Visit
On August 2, Jessie documented her unexpected return to the hospital in an Instagram Story. She mentioned that while she had symptoms alarming enough to suggest a blood clot, doctors confirmed it wasn’t the case. “Not expected or planned,” she wrote, sharing that tests pointed to an infection and fluid accumulation in her lungs. “Finding it hard to breathe in, but I discharged myself last night and will continue the investigation as an outpatient,” she added.
### Finding Humor in Difficult Times
The following day, Jessie shared a more lighthearted update, reflecting her resilience. “I finally got a diagnosis of what’s been going on. Lots of people have been asking; apparently, it’s called… Dramatic? I think that’s the spelling,” she quipped. Although her symptoms persisted without a clear explanation, her humor remained intact.
### Emotions and Physical Struggles
Jessie acknowledged that while some perceive her as barely holding on, she has moments where it indeed feels that way. “Two or three days ago, I woke up and couldn’t breathe. I still have pain in my chest when I breathe, but it’s not as bad,” she shared, providing insight into her ongoing struggles.
### Reflecting on Her Previous Surgery
In July, Jessie celebrated the success of her mastectomy, revealing that the cancer had not spread. “Happy tears are real. Thank YOU for the prayers, the love, the well wishes, the joy, and all the positive energy,” she expressed at that time. With one more surgery planned to enhance her recovery, Jessie shifted her focus to gratitude and even humorously declared her new name as “The LopJess monster.”
