Iron & Wine Unveils Exciting Australian Tour Dates!

Iron & Wine is set to make a long-awaited return to Australia for the first time since 2018, featuring a series of solo performances and festival appearances in February and March 2026.

The Artist Behind the Music

Sam Beam, the talented singer-songwriter and film studies lecturer, is the creative force behind Iron & Wine. Recognized for his rich vocal texture and melodic artistry, he stands as a leading figure in the indie folk movement. His sound masterfully combines transcendent folk elements, showcasing his talents as both a performer and a collaborator.

Performances and Music

During the tour, Beam will present tracks from his latest album, Light Verse, along with beloved songs from his partnerships with Calexico and I’m With Her, as well as iconic pieces like the romantic soundtrack from Twilight.

Tour Schedule

The Australian journey kicks off in Perth on February 28, followed by stops in Brisbane and Sydney in early March. Beam will also perform at WOMADelaide and the Port Fairy Folk Festival, wrapping up the tour with a closing concert in Melbourne.

This tour follows a successful US circuit alongside the acclaimed trio I’m With Her and Seattle favorites Band of Horses. With over a decade of musical innovation, Iron & Wine boasts a diverse catalog featuring seven studio albums, numerous EPs, and singles, all defined by poetic narratives and atmospheric soundscapes that highlight Beam’s distinctive voice.
