IED Students Shine at Fashion Graduate Italia 2025 Showcase
## Fashion Graduate Italia Event
Students from IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) presented their unique collections in Milan, marking the launch of Fashion Graduate Italia. This exciting event, running until October 30, is organized by Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda, a collaborative network of post-graduate fashion academies in Italy. It receives support from both the Lombardy Region and the Milan Municipality.
### Featured Graduates
IED highlighted the impressive designs of eight fashion graduates from its campuses across Italy, including Milan, Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Turin, and the Accademia di Como Aldo Galli.
Danilo Venturi, director of IED Milan and vice president of Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda, emphasized, “Year after year, Fashion Graduate Italia represents a 360-degree view of the new lifeblood that feeds and regenerates the languages of fashion. It is a moment in which research restores breadth and depth to the creative act.”

This collection beautifully narrates an internal and external voyage, highlighting themes of resilience and acceptance of one’s vulnerabilities.
#### Teche by Umberto Fenicchia
In contrast, Umberto Fenicchia’s Teche collection examines the human experience as a means of crafting one’s identity. It portrays the body, clothing, and environment as showcases that both conceal and reveal. This collection emphasizes that to cover oneself is to explore oneself, merging meticulous tailoring with innovative textile techniques. The interplay between protection and exposure creates garments that carry deep meanings, providing a conduit between inner thoughts and the external world.
