Good Charlotte to Reveal Exciting Tour Dates in Australia
## Good Charlotte’s Upcoming Tour Teased
Billboards have appeared across the country hinting at an exciting tour announcement. One billboard captures attention by saying, “Sydney, this song is dedicated to every kid who ever got picked last in gym class,” a nod to their debut single, “Little Things,” released in 2000.
### Madden’s Insights on the Tour
Joel Madden shared an image of the billboard with the caption: “Australia, get ready. @goodcharlotteband is coming.” He mentioned the challenges they’ve faced trying to finalize dates.
“With venues and other complications this year, we’ve found it tough to set our schedule,” Madden explained. He expressed a desire to announce tour dates alongside their new album and clarified that they are aiming for arena shows, which adds another layer of complexity. “We’re planning to come as quickly as we can at the beginning of ’26,” he added.
### A Long-Awaited Return
This tour marks Good Charlotte’s first return to Australia since their appearance in the 2018 Download Festival line-up. Their new album, *Motel Du Cap*, is their first full-length project since 2018’s *Generation Rx*. The band previously released the single “Last December” in 2020.
Since then, Joel and Benji Madden have been busy engaging in various business endeavors beyond music. They have launched the livestream platform Veeps, hosted Joel’s Artist Friendly podcast, and developed their artist management company, MDDN.
