## Going Global Music Summit Returns
Independent Music New Zealand (IMNZ) and the NZ Music Commission are excited to announce the revival of Aotearoa’s standout music industry event, the Going Global Music Summit.
### Event Details
This year, the Going Global Music Summit will be hosted at Q Theatre in Auckland. The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 28th, and Friday, August 29th. Additionally, the Artist Showcases promise an electrifying lineup, featuring 24 performances across three stages at Whammy! and Double Whammy! on both evenings.
### Exciting Guest Lineup
Among the first confirmed attendees for the 2025 summit are notable figures in the global music scene. These include Kimberley Galceran from Dark Mofo Festival, Dev Sherlock of SXSW, Lau Frías, A&R Director at Secretly Group, Adam Ryan from The Great Escape Festival, Collective Artists’ Rebecca Young, and Satria Ramadhan, owner of SRM Bookings & Services, among many others.
## What to Expect
“We’re thrilled to welcome individuals from the global music community,” shares IMNZ General Manager Dylan Pellett. He emphasizes the opportunity for attendees to connect with local artists and experience Aotearoa’s vibrant music scene.

### Ticket Information
Tickets for Going Global 2025 are now available. Early bird pricing is in effect until August 4th, and can be purchased through Q Theatre. A full list of experts in music A&R, booking, licensing, management, marketing, promotion, and publishing will be announced shortly. The lineup of Aotearoa artists participating in the showcases will also be unveiled in the coming weeks.
