Bollywood director and choreographer Farah Khan recently welcomed actor and dancer Raghav Juyal to her home for a cooking vlog. In this episode, Farah praised Raghav’s performance in his latest project, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, where she recounted a call from Gauri Khan about Aryan being dubbed her “worthy successor” in filmmaking.
Farah’s Take on Gauri’s Comments About Aryan
Farah shared her experience of viewing all seven episodes of Aryan’s series prior to its public release, complimenting his skills as a director. After the premiere, several viewers noted similarities between Aryan’s and Farah’s directorial styles, often positioning him as her apprentice.
In her vlog, Farah mentioned how Gauri reacted to the aforementioned comparisons: “Gauri Khan called me and said, ‘You are not in the show, but sabse zyada publicity teri ho rahi hai, ki Aryan Farah ka beta hai (you’re getting all the publicity as people are saying Aryan is Farah’s son). She said Aryan has a worthy successor.’ I was surprised to learn that Om Shanti Om is Aryan’s favorite film. Gauri often told me I’m Aryan’s favorite director.”
