A Spooky Transformation for Halloween in Lucknow

Lucknow is gearing up for a thrilling Halloween celebration, as locals embrace the festivities typical of major cities worldwide where horror intertwines with pop culture. The weekend promises an array of spooky events across the city.
From restaurants to bars, venues are adorned with eerie decorations, while specialty cocktails and decadent dishes are crafted to please even the most discerning palate. With October 31 landing on a Friday this year, the celebrations will likely extend throughout the weekend.
Error 404 Cocktails
Hazratganj Socials is stirring up a selection of unique cocktails for its “Escape from Corporate Hell” event, featuring imaginative names like Ctrl+Alt+Boo, Micromanage, and Error 404: Soul Not Found. The ambiance will be decked out with tombstones, blood-red decorations, and quirky posters to enhance the festive spirit. “We’ve taken a lighthearted approach to our daily grind and turned it into an event where everyone can laugh, dance, and scream together,” shares Divya Aggarwal from Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd.
Rohit Mishra, F&B manager at Centrum Lucknow, highlights the focus on thematic drinks and dishes. “A captivating atmosphere with carved pumpkins, spooky music, and special effects enhances the experience. Our signature drinks include Vampire Hickey, Double Bloody Witches, Zombie Shrunken Head, and Dracula Kiss, served in uniquely designed glasses,” he adds.
Spooky Games and Festivities
Celebrations continue beyond just Friday. The Glow-in-the-Dark Halloween Fear Fest at Melon’s Golf Club on Saturday includes thrilling games, glow tattoos, face painting, and a live techno set by DJ Two Deep.
Fairfield by Marriott is introducing its first-ever Halloween bash on Sunday, kicking off festivities earlier. “On Sunday, we’re offering special activities for mothers and kids, with crafts and fun gifts alongside our seasonal decor and menu,” mentions Jitendra Singh, the F&B director.
Dobaraa at Phoenix Palassio Mall will host a vibrant two-day Halloween Tribe bash featuring a horror-themed dress-up party, tarot sessions, witch storytelling, and a horror cave for thrilling experiences.
Fun Delights Await
Hyatt Regency’s general manager, Roshan Mendonsa, shares, “To elevate the Halloween experience for party enthusiasts, we’re opening our open-air Penthouse on Saturday, where guests can enjoy exclusive decor, cocktails, and delightful food late into the night.”
To continue the excitement, Café Delhi Heights has rolled out the Pasta La Vista! Pasta Fresca festival for two weeks. “This Halloween, we cater to pasta lovers with a selection of fresh, handmade options like Fettuccine, Spinach and Goat Cheese Ravioli, alongside rich, flavorful sauces,” they explain.
The Renaissance Lucknow is holding its “Sky Turns Wicked!” evening at the Skybar and offering a “Feast of Frights” at its L14 restaurant, while the bakery is serving a host of tempting Halloween treats.
