Exciting Lineup Unveiled for Free Aussie Music Festival Valley Fiesta!

Get ready for Brisbane’s biggest free street celebration, Valley Fiesta, returning for 2025 with an impressive lineup of Australian talent.
On Saturday, October 11th, Fortitude Valley will come alive with vibrant performances across two main stages located in Brunswick Street and the Valley Malls.

Headlining this year is the acclaimed surf rock duo, Hockey Dad, alongside local sensation Sycco, and rising star Keli Holiday, who will perform tracks from his latest single, “Dancing 2.” DJ sets will keep the energy up in Winn Lane, ensuring the party continues into the night.
As the festival reaches its 29th year, it has solidified its place as a beloved event for Brisbane music enthusiasts. Valley Fiesta aims to showcase a wide variety of Australian talent, from local indie groups to well-known national bands.

Supporting Local Talent
According to a recent study by Music Australia, the cost of attending live events is a key challenge for many. Thus, free festivals like Valley Fiesta provide a fantastic platform for everyone to experience new music while supporting emerging artists.
Expect to see acts such as the psychedelic band The Lazy Eyes from Sydney, the punk group VOIID from Brisbane, and Sonic Reducer, who recently returned from a successful European tour with Royel Otis. In addition, Lottie McLeod, named QMusic’s Emerging Artist of the Year, will showcase her impressive songwriting skills, while alt-rock group Special Features brings their grunge vibe to the stage.

Local group Tjaka will blend electronic sounds with rap, infusing elements of funk and reggae into their set. Meanwhile, the eight-piece band TYDE promises to deliver their melodious fusion of soul and jazz, demonstrating why they have quickly become festival favorites.
Supported by the Brisbane City Council and in collaboration with iconic venue The Tivoli and QMusic, Valley Fiesta celebrates music, culture, and community.
