Exciting Concert Lineup for F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2025: Elton John & More!

While George Russell took the checkered flag at the Singapore Grand Prix in 2025, the real highlight for many was the stellar music lineup that took place from October 3 to 5. This year featured legendary artists, some of whom hadn’t graced the Singapore stage in over a decade.

CNA Lifestyle covered most of the performances, missing only a few due to scheduling conflicts. Overall, the entertainment was among the most captivating in the event’s history.

DAY 1

2NE1’S CL

This K-pop superstar made her return to Singapore a month after her successful Waterbomb gig. Sporting an all-black outfit, CL powered through the humid conditions to deliver a vibrant performance, humorously commenting on her heavy leather jacket.

With confident renditions of hits like “The Baddest Female” and “Doctor Pepper,” CL reminded everyone why she remains one of K-pop’s most captivating solo artists. She also delighted the crowd with a medley of iconic 2NE1 tracks like “Fire” and “I Am The Best,” sending fans into a frenzy.

Towards the end of her set, CL revealed that new music is on the way, along with plans to return to Singapore.

BIGBANG’S G-DRAGON

With an impressive turnout of 65,000 fans at G-Dragon’s show, the energy in the venue was palpable. Even hours before he took the stage, the crowd was already buzzing, chanting his name.

When G-Dragon finally appeared, the audience erupted with enthusiasm, especially during his energetic performances of “Power” and “Home Sweet Home.”

DAY 2

FOO FIGHTERS

The Foo Fighters’ performance on October 4 solidified their status as one of the greatest rock bands today. For a full two hours, they delivered a relentless show with little downtime.

Dave Grohl commanded the stage with his powerful vocals and impressive guitar play. The audience was treated to timeless hits such as “Everlong” and “My Hero,” with Grohl declaring they would keep playing until they couldn’t anymore.

Grohl also shared his memories of visiting Singapore in 1992 with Nirvana, remarking on the city’s uniqueness.

THE SMASHING PUMPKINS

Despite the rainfall, The Smashing Pumpkins captivated audiences at the Wharf Stage with classics like “Today” and “1979.”

Frontman Billy Corgan brought smiles with his playful remarks about their “gothic dad look” while expressing their love for racing.

ELTON JOHN

Though Elton John has stepped back from extensive touring, his closing performance showcased that he’s still a powerhouse. Despite facing Singapore’s heat and a brief technical issue, he maintained composure, skillfully playing the piano and singing classic hits like “Your Song” and “Candle In The Wind.”

The audience’s experience was further enhanced by rhinestone-studded sunglasses distributed before the show, creating a magical atmosphere.
