Exciting Additions to The Others Way 2025 Lineup: Connan Mockasin, Florist, and More
The Others Way 2025 lineup has expanded significantly, announcing an exciting range of artists.
This beloved street festival in Auckland is set to take over the Karangahape Road area on Saturday, November 29th.
In a noteworthy addition, New Zealand’s renowned experimental artist Connan Mockasin will return to Auckland in a band format for the first time in six years, much to the excitement of fans.
Alongside Mockasin, the lineup will feature the indie folk duo Florist from the US, Toody Cole & Her Band, Melbourne’s Georgia Knight, and Aotearoa Music Award winner Jim Nothing, among others.
The initial lineup for The Others Way 2025 was unveiled in May, with American singer Sharon Van Etten and her group, Attachment Theory, headlining the event. Van Etten is celebrated as one of the most talented rock musicians of her generation, having last performed at Auckland’s Civic Theatre.
Other artists confirmed earlier include The Phoenix Foundation, High Dependency Unit, and Isla Noon.

The Others Way is not only known for its diverse talent but also for transforming the Karangahape Road into a lively festival space. Expect the streets between Queen Street and Pitt Street to turn into a vibrant celebration, with the main stage situated near the iconic Rainbow crossing.
Last year’s festival showcased an impressive group of artists, including Taite Music Prize nominee Erny Belle and international acts like A. Savage from Parquet Courts and indie sensation Andy Shauf.
