Elvish Yadav Faces Backlash for Targeting Pranit More on Bigg Boss 19
Elvish Yadav’s actions in Bigg Boss 19 spark online backlash.
This Weekend Ka Vaar episode in Bigg Boss 19 featured the notable YouTuber and winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav. While numerous fans celebrated his appearance with host Salman Khan, others took to social media to criticize him for mocking comedian Pranit More. This was seen as a reaction to Pranit’s earlier jokes about Elvish.
Elvish Yadav’s Target on Pranit More
During the episode, Elvish interacted with housemates, challenging them to name a contestant they considered “vicious.” When addressing Pranit, he sarcastically remarked, “Pranit bhai pehchana? Main vohi hoon, Salman Khan ke ghar par do mahine raha tha, OTT winner.” Pranit responded with a nod but looked bewildered.
Later, as he said his goodbyes to the contestants, Elvish again directed jabs at Pranit, suggesting that someone had accused him of cheating—a claim he said Pranit had now validated. This comment led to Pranit explaining that his earlier remarks were meant as lighthearted banter.
Elvish’s treatment of Pranit did not resonate well with online audiences, with many criticizing him for arrogance. One user commented, “Winning Bigg Boss by fluke results in arrogance.” Another stated, “He was clearly bullying him.” Some even labeled Elvish a hypocrite for his inability to accept jokes mimicking the roasting style he uses in his own YouTube content.
Pranit’s Response
In prior comedy gigs, Pranit had lightly mocked Elvish by saying, “You know who Elvish Yadav is, right? He’s a YouTuber, even I didn’t know him. Then I found out he’s the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2. I was like, of course, the man who stayed in Salman Khan’s house for two months can hit people and harm animals too.”
