Electric Island 2026: Exciting Lineup and Fresh Three-City Experience
Australia’s beachside electronic event, Electric Island, is returning in 2026 with an impressive lineup featuring both international stars and local favorites. This year promises an exciting experience for electronic music lovers.
At the forefront is the iconic American house DJ Armand Van Helden, who will take the stage in Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth. He will be joined by Flight Facilities (DJ Set), with Above & Beyond leading the lineup for select performances.
Event Details
The festival kicks off at Glenelg Beach in Adelaide on April 11th before moving to Melbourne’s RIVA and Cottesloe Beach in Perth for two-day weekend celebrations on April 18th and 19th.
Headliners Shine Bright
A true pioneer of the house music scene, Armand Van Helden has captivated audiences for over three decades. Known for groundbreaking hits like “My My My,” “I Want Your Soul,” and “Barbara Streisand” (with Duck Sauce), his vibrant DJ sets and signature remixes make him a respected figure in dance music.
Meanwhile, Above & Beyond will return to Australia to promote their latest album, *Bigger Than All Of Us*. This Grammy-nominated trio, celebrated for their emotional tracks and the popular ‘Group Therapy’ radio show, is sure to deliver unforgettable moments as they play iconic venues like the Sydney Opera House.

Also featured in the lineup are Flight Facilities, known for their feel-good anthems such as “Crave You,” “Clair de Lune,” and “Sunshine.” The duo’s cinematic performances and festival vibes are set to offer a nostalgic experience for fans.
Expansion and Growth
Promoter Damian Gelle highlights that the 2026 festival marks a significant expansion, featuring five open-air shows across three states. This year’s event will debut at Melbourne’s luxurious Riviera Beach Club in St Kilda.
Electric Island, an offshoot of Electric Gardens, made its debut in 2025, selling 25,000 tickets and quickly becoming a favorite for electronic music enthusiasts. Organized by T1000 Events, the festival has previously showcased legends like Fatboy Slim, Eric Prydz, and Craig David, solidifying its status as one of Australia’s top boutique festivals.

Presale tickets will be available starting at 8 a.m. local time on Wednesday, October 22nd, followed by regular sales opening on Thursday, October 23rd.
