Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat: Day 2 Box Office Success with ₹16.50 Crore
Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat box office collection day 2
Box Office Performance: The romantic drama, featuring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa, continues to impress at the box office. Released during Diwali, the film garnered over ₹9 crore on its opening day. Post-festival, it managed to sustain its momentum, only dropping 16% in earnings, successfully competing against the popular film “Thamma.”
Box Office Update
The film debuted with a strong start of ₹9 crore net on its release day. The filmmakers later noted that earnings topped ₹10 crore. This performance is particularly commendable given the absence of big-name actors and competition from “Thamma,” a well-received horror-comedy.
Despite the end of the festival, “Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat” exceeded expectations with earnings of ₹7.50 crore on the following day. This resulted in a modest 16.6% drop, outperforming “Thamma,” which experienced a greater decline.
With a total of ₹16.50 crore net in just two days, the film is well-positioned to surpass ₹50 crore in earnings by the end of its extended six-day opening weekend, showcasing the potential of low-budget films in the industry.
About Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat
Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film stars Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa, accompanied by Shaad Randhawa, Sachin Khedekar, and Ananth Narayan Mahadevan. Interestingly, Harshvardhan Rane participated in a unique promotional campaign, even selling tickets personally at the box office and promoting the film throughout Mumbai.
As the box office continues to reveal trends, movie enthusiasts are keen to see how “Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat” sustains its success. Will this romance survive the competitive landscape of Bollywood?
