## Dolly Parton Postpones Las Vegas Concerts
Dolly Parton has announced the postponement of six upcoming concerts originally scheduled for December at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. In her heartfelt social media message, the beloved Country Music Hall of Fame artist shared that she’s faced “health challenges” that have impacted her preparation for the shows.
### Health Concerns
The 79-year-old singer expressed her desire to communicate directly with fans: “I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts. As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures.”
She humorously remarked, “As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!”
### Commitment to Fans
Dolly emphasized that she wouldn’t be able to deliver the performance that her fans deserve. “I want to be at my best for you,” she stated, highlighting her intention to take the necessary time to prepare adequately for the shows.
Despite her current health issues, she reassured fans not to worry. “Don’t worry about me quittin’ the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet,” she explained, adding, “I believe He is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures in life.”
### Concert Details
The mini-residency concerts were planned for December 4 through 13, coinciding with the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, a prime time for country music artists. This would have been Dolly’s first performance in Vegas since 1993. Fans who purchased tickets for the original dates will have them honored at the rescheduled shows, although the new dates are yet to be announced. Refunds will also be an option.
Dolly concluded her message with gratitude: “I love you and thank you for understanding.”
