## Splore Festival 2026: Celebrating Music and Community

New Zealand’s beloved Splore Festival is set to make its grand return in 2026, with an exciting lineup featuring Röyksopp, Sister Nancy, Nightmares on Wax, and General Levy.

This vibrant festival, heralded as Aotearoa’s longest-running celebration, will take place at Tāpapakanga Regional Park in Auckland from February 20th to 22nd.

### A Three-Day Celebration

The festival promises three days packed with music, art, and community spirit. Attendees can look forward to immersive experiences across six stages, along with new creative spaces designed to enhance the overall experience.

Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp will headline with an impressive two-hour set, marking their first performance in New Zealand in 14 years. This visit follows a series of sold-out concerts in Australia, showcasing their enduring popularity.

### Exciting Debuts and Returns

Making her first ever appearance at Splore Festival, Jamaican dancehall queen Sister Nancy will hit the stage, joined by the renowned French soundsystem DJ Legal Shot. Furthermore, UK’s Nightmares on Wax will deliver two exclusive sets at the event, celebrating their classic albums such as *A Space Outta Sounds* and *Smokers Delight*, alongside hit singles like “You Wish” and “Da Feeling.” Their music has garnered over half a billion streams, a testament to their influence.

General Levy, another UK talent, will light up the Splore stage with the support of DJ Awira. Known for his rapid-fire lyrical delivery blending ragga, jungle, and drum and bass, Levy is among the UK’s most sought-after MCs.

### Enhancements and Curated Experiences

For 2026, festival-goers can take advantage of the new Ultimate Festival Kit. This offering includes pre-set camping options and gear rentals, a convenient choice for those traveling to the festival.

Co-curated by Shaquille Wasasala (aka Half Queen) and long-time curator John Minty, the lineup also features a mix of local and international acts, including Chiccoreli + Tali, GoldTooth, Benny Salvador, Rio Funk’s Marjorie Sinclair, and many more, with surprises still to be announced.
