Discover Thailand's Stunning Filming Locations in Jurassic World: Rebirth

*Jurassic World: Rebirth* was filmed across three provinces in Thailand: Krabi, Phang Nga, and Trang. The production took place between June 13 and July 16, 2024, with an impressive budget of over 650 million Thai baht (approximately US$20 million), according to local reports.

The film employed over 500 Thai crew members, creating job opportunities for 2,245 locals, thereby contributing significantly to the local economy.

1. Huai To Waterfall at Khao Phanom Bencha National Park, Krabi

Khao Phanom Bencha National Park is celebrated for its waterfalls, caves, and trails meandering through lush montane forests. Among its gems is Huai To Waterfall, a stunning multi-tiered cascade tucked away in the dense jungle.

This small yet striking park encompasses around 50 square kilometers and lies between the Maung, Ao Luek, and Khao Phanom districts in Krabi Province.

3. Phang-Nga Bay (Ao Phang Nga National Park), Phang Nga

A marine wonderland, Ao Phang Nga National Park covers approximately 400 square kilometers and is renowned for its extensive beaches and impressive native mangrove forests. This stunning area hosts about 40 islands located to the east of Phuket Island.

The park is famous for Khao Tapu, also known as James Bond Island, which gained fame as a filming location in the Bond classic, *The Man With the Golden Gun*.

The calm turquoise waters make it ideal for canoeing and exploring sea-level caves that lead to breathtaking inland lagoons. Popular nearby towns include Phuket, Krabi, Khao Lak, and Ko Lanta.

4. Tham Morakot (Emerald Cave), Trang Province

Within the Hat Chao Mai National Park lies Emerald Cave, a unique site that beckons visitors. To enjoy its beauty, tourists must float through an 80-meter-long tunnel.

The cave earns its name from the sunlight’s reflection on the water, which transforms the area into a stunning emerald color, visible between 10 AM and 2 PM.

*Jurassic World: Rebirth* debuted in theaters on July 3. The story follows the character Zora Bennett, portrayed by Scarlett Johansson, as she leads a team to a perilous island facility to secure dinosaur DNA that could offer life-saving advancements for humanity.
