Ninajirachi Explores the Web in Her Track 'Infohazard'

The upcoming Slackbarn #2 music festival in New Zealand is set to showcase an impressive array of talent in its second year.

Taking place at the picturesque Black Barn Vineyards in Hawke’s Bay on Saturday, January 10th, this one-day event features artists from Aotearoa, Australia, and beyond.

Festival Highlights

Kate Bollinger will grace the festival stage before kicking off her debut tour across Australia and New Zealand. Known for her captivating live performances that blend indie pop, folk, and psychedelic rock, she has shared the stage with renowned artists like Faye Webster and Devendra Banhart.

Fans can look forward to local favorites Marlin’s Dreaming, who will perform tracks from their acclaimed album, HIRL, which has been highlighted in many music circles.

Featured tracks like “Lucky Star” and the beautiful collaboration “Earnestly” with Erny Belle exemplify the band’s distinct sound, combining elements of melancholy and warmth.

Notable Performers

Erny Belle, another artist generating buzz, has been nominated for multiple awards at the upcoming ARIA Awards, making her debut appearance highly anticipated.

The Slackbarn #2 lineup also includes Nic & Reuben, Eden Burns, Nice Girl, Harley Girl, Dylan Biscuit, AJ Honeysuckle, Miakie, and Half/Angel, promising a diverse musical experience.

This year’s festival is hosted by Community Service Records, managed by DJ Hyan and Harry from the streetwear brand Delusional Dreamland.
