Diljit Dosanjh Reflects on His Early Days

Punjabi actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh recently shared heartfelt memories during his appearance on a popular television show. He delved into his childhood struggles and the sacrifices made by his father, who worked diligently as a ticket checker in roadways.

Connecting with His Roots

Diljit fondly recalled being sent to live with his maternal uncle at a young age. This separation was painful for him, as he could only visit his parents every few months. He expressed immense respect for his father, describing him as a simple man with minimal desires.

“My father worked a government job and lived a saintly life. He only wished for a bicycle and had a fondness for mangoes. He taught me, ‘Son, I can give you food and shelter, but everything else you need to achieve on your own,’” Diljit shared, reflecting on his father’s wisdom and guidance.
