Diljit Dosanjh: First Indian Artist to Headline Major Stadiums in Australia

Diljit Dosanjh, a prominent figure in the Indian entertainment industry, is set to make history as the first Indian artist to headline stadiums in Australia with his much-anticipated ‘AURA’ tour.

This tour will feature performances in key cities including Sydney and Melbourne, alongside first-time shows in Adelaide and Perth, and a return to Brisbane. It will culminate in Auckland, New Zealand.

The ‘AURA’ tour comes on the heels of Dosanjh’s previous successful international endeavors across North America, Europe, the UK, and India, as well as his recent ‘Born To Shine’ tour in Australia. Fans can expect an expanded setlist that includes beloved hits and fresh tracks, all complemented by enhanced production and stunning visuals.

The Australian and New Zealand legs of the tour kick off on Sunday, October 26th, at Sydney’s CommBank Stadium. The schedule continues with performances at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on October 29th, AAMI Park in Melbourne on November 1st, Adelaide’s AEC Arena on November 5th, and Perth’s RAC Arena on November 9th, before wrapping up in Auckland on November 13th.

Tickets will be available to the general public through Ticketek starting September 3rd, with a pre-sale option available for those eager to secure their spots on September 2nd.

Renowned for his unique ability to blend traditional Punjabi music with contemporary sounds, Dosanjh has gained international acclaim with tracks like “G.O.A.T”, “Do You Know”, and “Proper Patola”. He’s graced various high-profile platforms, including Coachella, the Met Gala, and the Billboard Summit, and will also feature in Netflix’s upcoming film Amar Singh Chamkila.

In expressing his excitement for the tour, Dosanjh remarked, “The energy that fans in Australia and New Zealand brought to my last tour was unforgettable. My fans’ immense love is the reason I’m coming back with stadium shows in Sydney and Melbourne, and we’ve added Adelaide and Perth so I can celebrate with even more of them. This tour is for the fans — but it’s also about celebrating Indian music on a global stage and sharing our culture with the world.”
