Bollywood stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon were present at UFC 321 in Abu Dhabi. A video circulating on social media shows Varun approaching former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The clip shared on Instagram features several fans around Khabib, most of whom snapped selfies. Varun approached him, but after a brief exchange, Khabib quickly posed for a photo with someone else before leaving.
Onlookers commented, “Khabib seemingly declined a picture with a Bollywood actor,” indicating a perceived snub from Khabib. Reactions varied: some believed Khabib just didn’t recognize Varun and others defended the actor, saying he was merely there to meet the fighter.
Many defended Varun by saying the incident was blown out of proportion, emphasizing that he had met Khabib and showed respect. “He didn’t ask for a selfie; it was just a handshake,” said one commenter.
Earlier, Varun posted multiple pictures and videos from the event on Instagram, stating, “Habibi. A fantastic night at the fights, UFC 321.” He extended his gratitude to local officials for their hospitality.
Most recently, Varun starred in “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,” alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf. As for what’s next, he will appear in “Border 2,” directed by Anurag Singh, set to release on January 22, 2026, featuring Sunny Deol and others.
