Dhanashree’s Allegations
During the show, Dhanashree Verma claimed that her ex-husband, cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, had cheated on her during their early marriage. This revelation raised questions about whether she was leveraging her personal experiences for strategic advantage in the game.
While some may have interpreted her comments as tactical, Arjun offered her emotional support. He noted, “She was crying and sharing some things about her past life. I was listening and voiced my opinion calmly because it was just a normal conversation.” Arjun emphasized that his actions stemmed from empathy, not gameplay.
Humanity in Competition
Arjun clarified his intentions, insisting, “Sometimes people forget that even in a competitive environment, we’re still human. Showing care shouldn’t be seen as weakness.” He expressed surprise at the stigma surrounding men socializing and partying.
He further mentioned that even if Dhanashree’s statements were fabricated for the show’s dynamics, he couldn’t judge her motivations. “I was just being considerate,” he reiterated.
Addressing External Comments
Arjun also addressed comments made by fellow contestant Arbaaz Patel regarding Dhanashree’s interactions. He remarked, “When I got to know what all he had said, I told him, ‘She’s not your girlfriend or someone important to you.’” Arjun maintained that if Dhanashree wasn’t reacting to the comments, he felt it was not his place to intervene.
He concluded, “As a friend, I wanted to clarify misunderstandings but also respected their wish to keep certain things private.” Arjun expressed his intention not to interfere with others’ gameplay, highlighting the complexities of personal relationships in competitive environments.
