Dave Dobbyn Unveils Exciting New Zealand Tour Dates

Sir Dave Dobbyn has recently revealed plans for a regional tour across New Zealand this upcoming spring.

The ‘Selected Songs’ tour is set to kick off on Friday, October 31st, at The Opera House in Wellington (Pōneke). Following this, Dobbyn will perform at the Municipal Theatre in Napier (Ahuriri) on Tuesday, November 4th.

His tour will proceed to Regent on Broadway in Palmerston North (Papaioea) on Wednesday, November 5th, before heading to Dunedin Town Hall (Ōtepoti) on Friday, November 7th, and wrapping up at Christchurch’s James Hay Theatre (Ōtautahi) on Sunday, November 9th.

This tour comes after his successful sold-out show at Auckland Town Hall, which was part of Live Nation’s Winter Series.

Tickets will be available to the public starting Monday, August 11th at 11 am (local time). Attendees can purchase them through Live Nation’s official site, with several pre-sale options accessible beforehand (see details below).

Boasting a remarkable career that spans over 45 years, Dobbyn has significantly influenced New Zealand’s music scene through his songwriting and distinctive voice. In 2021, he was honored with a knighthood for his contributions to music and continues to perform despite being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2022, emphasizing that it’s “business as usual.”
