Chet Faker, Franz Ferdinand, and Parcels Set to Headline On The Steps 2025
The exciting lineup for this year’s On The Steps concert series has been officially announced.
Live Nation has revealed a roster of incredible performances set to take place at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt from December 2nd to 15th.
On The Steps 2025 promises “13 unforgettable evenings of world-class entertainment on the nation’s premier outdoor stage.” The event will showcase a wide variety of both local and international talent in music and comedy.
This series is organized in collaboration with Support Act, featuring initiatives aimed at raising funds for the charity’s crisis relief services, assisting music industry professionals facing job insecurities.
Mark your calendars for the complete series lineup below, starting with Chet Faker and Mallrat on December 2nd and culminating with Kirk Franklin on December 15th.
Parcels, among the featured acts, expressed great enthusiasm about their participation following a successful global tour.
“Performing on the steps of the Opera House is surreal,” said keyboardist Louie Swain. “In year 12, we played in the concert hall for HSC Encore, right as we were forming Parcels, making this venue hold a special place for us. We’re honored to join this series, especially with so many family and friends attending—it will be truly memorable.”

This marks Live Nation’s fourth year of presenting On The Steps, uniquely curated for the Sydney Opera House Forecourt. They anticipate welcoming over 50,000 attendees during the 13-day festival.
