Paul Sinha Discusses His Parkinson’s Diagnosis
Paul Sinha, known for his role on The Chase, has openly shared his experience with Parkinson’s disease during a recent comedy set. At the Ealing Comedy Festival, Sinha described his diagnosis as a "tough" one but emphasized his determination to confront the challenges ahead.

In his remarks, Sinha acknowledged the gravity of his condition, stating, "I’m well aware that in 15 to 20 years time, I might be completely immobile and totally expressionless." Despite this serious outlook, Sinha managed to infuse humor into the discussion, remarking, "But hey – I’m still Australia’s number one break dancer. Sometimes these things are sent to try us." His ability to find humor in dark situations reflects his resilience in the face of adversity.
The Moment of Diagnosis
Sinha first suspected he might have Parkinson’s on a taxi ride through Wellington back in May 2019. “In a taxi on the way from Wellington Airport to my hotel, I googled ‘Parkinson’s’ plus ‘frozen shoulder’ and just got the shock of my life,” he shared, describing the overwhelming amount of medical information that confirmed his fears.
