The album cover features artwork by Brandon Breaux, a longtime collaborator of Chance’s, known for shaping his distinctive artistic style. According to Chance’s team, *Star Line* reflects “Chance’s global journey, artistically, spiritually, and physically, over the past six years.” Working closely with producer DexLvL, the album combines elements of hip-hop, soul, and experimental sounds, alongside poignant reflections on identity, resilience, and legacy.

### Recent Releases and Singles

Three weeks ago, Chance introduced *Star Line* with the release of the lead single “Tree,” featuring Lil Wayne and Smino. The track includes a sample from India Arie’s “Video,” and all three artists share insights into their 4/20 culture. In one memorable line, Chance sings, “though life will have its issues, there would never be a problem with the weed.” The music video, directed by Chance himself, was filmed at Atrium, a dispensary owned by a Black woman in Woodland Hills, California.

### Merchandise and Chart Eligibility

The *Star Line* merchandise collection, including CDs, will feature NFC chips that unlock special content from the album. This innovation marks it as the first NFC-enabled CD eligible for Billboard chart considerations. Announced in 2022, *Star Line* has been highly anticipated, following his debut album *The Big Day*.
