This month’s analysis considered factors such as consumer engagement, media visibility, and community influence, compiled through extensive data collection. Noteworthy groups like BTS, SEVENTEEN, BIGBANG, and EXO made the list, reflecting their popularity and engagement.
BTS Claims Top Spot in July Rankings
BTS has secured the number one position in the July K-pop boy group brand reputation rankings, achieving a remarkable 10,128,032 brand value points. This marks a surge from their second-place ranking last month. A significant driver of this spike is the anticipation surrounding their upcoming group comeback, particularly after all seven members completed their mandatory service and announced a new album set for release in Spring 2026.
SEVENTEEN Follows Closely Behind
In second place, SEVENTEEN boasts a brand reputation index of 6,230,280. The group continues to gain popularity, especially following their recent release, the HAPPY BURSTDAY album, as they celebrate a decade in the K-pop scene. They also excited fans with the announcement of a new subunit featuring members S.Coups and Mingyu, further heightening interest in their activities.
At third place is BIGBANG, retaining their position with a total of 3,342,244 brand points. Despite not releasing new group tracks since their 2022 song “Still Life,” they maintain a loyal fanbase, looking ahead to a comeback next year.
