BLACKPINK is back in action! On July 7, the globally renowned K-pop group unveiled an exciting teaser for their forthcoming music video titled JUMP. This teaser comes shortly after their electrifying live performance of the song during their DEADLINE World Tour kickoff.
In the brief 30-second preview, fans are whisked away to a stylish, futuristic city. All four members—Rosé, Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo—appear prominently on large digital billboards lighting up the skyline. As the music escalates, the visuals shift to a wall adorned with graffiti, showcasing a mural of the band.
The scene transitions to the idols, who stand confidently in front of their illustrated versions, all dressed in sleek, black outfits that hint at an edgier and more dynamic theme.
Just before the teaser concludes, Rosé locks eyes with the camera, and the screen fades to reveal the title JUMP alongside the release date, July 11, in striking pink text. The full music video and the digital version of the track are set to drop this Friday.
JUMP: A Highly Anticipated Return
BLACKPINK’s JUMP is their first new group track since 2023’s The Girls, which was a special single released for the mobile game Blackpink The Game. Their last studio album, Born Pink, came out in 2022, achieving worldwide acclaim.
Since then, all members have explored solo ventures in music, fashion, and acting, allowing them to showcase their individual artistry. Their reunion this year is particularly exciting as rumors about new group music began circulating earlier in 2025.
DEADLINE World Tour Launch
The teaser closely follows BLACKPINK’s triumphant return to live performance, having officially kicked off their DEADLINE World Tour on July 5 at Goyang Stadium in South Korea. They thrilled fans by performing JUMP live for the first time during the concert’s early set and included it again during the encore.
The buzz continued on July 6, when BTS member J-Hope was spotted in the audience, adding to the excitement among fans of both groups.
Upcoming Tour Stops in Los Angeles
With their leg in South Korea wrapped up, BLACKPINK is heading to the West Coast next. Their upcoming performances at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles are scheduled for July 12 and 13, before they journey through several major cities throughout the rest of 2025.
As anticipation builds for the official release of JUMP, fans are eagerly taking to social media to discuss the potential choreography, overall concept, and the meaning behind this new track.
