BLACKPINK Achieves Milestone with JUMP: First K-Pop Group with 3 Global No. 1s

BLACKPINK continues to showcase their immense global impact with the release of their latest digital single, JUMP, on July 11, 2025. The track has quickly ascended to the top of the Spotify Global Chart, generating buzz throughout the music community.

Within just one day of its launch, JUMP secured the No. 1 position on Spotify’s global rankings. It joins the ranks of Pink Venom and Shut Down, making it the third song from BLACKPINK to achieve this milestone. Currently, BLACKPINK holds the record for the most No. 1 hits by a K-pop group on Spotify, a feat no other act, including BTS, has accomplished.

BLACKPINK Surpasses BTS and Joins Global Icons

With JUMP contributing to their Spotify legacy, BLACKPINK has now surpassed BTS, who previously had two No. 1 songs: Dynamite and Take Two. BLACKPINK’s current total stands at three, solidifying their status as the most-streamed K-pop group on Spotify.

Their impressive global reach extends further, as their three No. 1 hits have also placed them among the top female artists with the most chart-topping songs on Spotify. They currently share the fourth position with global stars like Rihanna, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sabrina Carpenter. The only ones ahead are Billie Eilish with 6 No. 1s, Ariana Grande with 8, and Taylor Swift leading with 12.

BLACKPINK’s JUMP Becomes Second-Longest K-Pop No. 1 on Spotify

As of July 17, JUMP has maintained the top spot on the Spotify Global Chart for five consecutive days, amassing over 6.579 million daily streams. This achievement ranks it as the second-longest-running No. 1 single for a K-pop group, surpassing their own Pink Venom, which stayed at No. 1 for three days. The only song that outperformed it is Shut Down, which held the top position for six days, also by BLACKPINK.

Their remarkable achievement on the charts not only sets K-pop records but also marks a first in Spotify’s history. BLACKPINK is now the only group across any genre to have three distinct songs that held the No. 1 position for multiple days.
