Bigg Boss 19: Salman Khan Takes a Jab at Elvish Yadav’s Snake Venom Scandal

Highlights from Bigg Boss 19
In the latest episode of **Bigg Boss 19**, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan welcomed Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, for a special task. This segment involved playful digs centered on Elvish’s recent controversy regarding snake venom.
Salman Khan’s Humorous Take
As Elvish entered, Salman greeted him with a smile, saying, “Please welcome Elvish Yadav. Ekdum system hang kar dena (Please crash the system).” In response, Elvish joked, “Gharwalon ke andar jo vish hai, uska ilaaj karne aaya hoon (I’ve come to cure the poison inside the housemates).”
Salman hit back with, “Vish se toh aapka purana naata hai (You’ve had a long-standing connection with poison),” alluding to Elvish’s earlier controversy. Elvish laughed and replied, “Kaafi (a lot),” prompting Salman to quip, “But I didn’t know that you can fix it too. You have the antidote.”
To provide context, Elvish Yadav had faced legal issues related to a rave party where snake venom was allegedly involved. While his legal team asserts his innocence, the case is still under scrutiny, especially since earlier this year, the Allahabad High Court declined to dismiss the charges.
Introducing the Poison and Antidote Task
Within the Bigg Boss 19 house, Elvish introduced the “Poison and Antidote” challenge. He stated, “Pranit bhai ko lagta hai mere andar bahut vish hai. Aap logon ko batana hai kiske andar ka vish aap nikalna chahte ho (Pranit thinks I have a lot of poison. You all need to say whose poison you’d like to extract).” The task quickly escalated, leading to emotional displays among contestants.
Zeishan Quadri handed the antidote to Kunickaa Sadanand, saying, “Agar yahan huye hain 100 mudde, toh 95 mein Kunickaa ji hai (If there have been 100 issues, Kunickaa is involved in 95 of them).”
The sharpest sarcasm came from Abhishek Bajaj towards Farrhana Bhatt, stating, “Vish ki baat ho aur Farrhana ki baat na ho, toh aisa ho hi nahi sakta. But tu itni important nahi hai (If we’re discussing poison but don’t mention Farrhana, that’s impossible. But you’re not that important, go sit back down).”
Taking a diplomatic approach, Amaal Mallik chose Ashnoor Kaur as the recipient of the antidote, calling her the “leader of the group.” Elvish added, “No matter how much antidote you give her, the poison won’t end.”
As the episode reached its conclusion, Salman created suspense by calling Neelam and Zeishan to the main door for what seemed like an eviction, only to reveal it was a prank, much to the relief of the contestants and laughter of the audience.
