BFC Introduces New Award Category to Celebrate Stylists’ Evolving Roles

## Introduction to the Award Update
The British Fashion Council (BFC) has revamped one of its award categories in collaboration with Pandora, highlighting the significant contributions stylists make in the fashion industry. The newly named Style Moment of the Year Award will debut at The Fashion Awards 2025, scheduled for December 1.
## Recognizing Stylists’ Influence
Previously known as the Pandora Leader of Change, this award aims to honor a stylist who has orchestrated a pivotal fashion or entertainment moment that has resonated with culture and innovation. The initiative seeks to reflect how stylists shape cultural narratives, according to a statement issued by the BFC.
## Selection Criteria for the Award
A panel of industry experts will determine the award recipient, employing specific criteria. They will evaluate each nominee based on their contribution to cultural conversations, originality, ability to achieve influence and virality, and whether their work exhibits a sense of timelessness.
## BFC’s Vision for the Award
Laura Weir, the new CEO of the BFC, expressed enthusiasm about this evolution. She remarked, “This award reflects the changing dynamics of fashion and highlights its ongoing impact on wider entertainment and culture. We’re thrilled to evolve this award in partnership with Pandora to celebrate a singular fashion moment that goes beyond just aesthetics – a moment that defines a year and lives on beyond it.”
