Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are set to marry on Saturday, September 27, at a private estate in Santa Barbara. Family and friends of the couple are expected to begin their arrival in Los Angeles soon for the much-anticipated weekend celebration. Reports suggest guests will stay at the nearby luxurious El Encanto hotel, with rooms fully booked at $3,500 a night.
To maintain their privacy, guests will only be informed of the wedding location upon being picked up and driven there.
An insider revealed to The Sun, “All the guests will be picked up and driven to the location without knowing their destination ahead of time. Everyone is so excited despite the mystery, they know it will be an amazing time.”
The couple confirmed their relationship in late 2023 and became engaged in December 2024. Gomez shared engagement photos on Instagram, stating, “forever begins now.”
Prior to the wedding, Gomez marked her bachelorette party with close friends in Cabo San Lucas. The celebrations included yacht outings where Gomez was seen relaxing in a white bikini.
Her cousin, Priscilla Marie, was also present at the bachelorette party. Gomez previously served as maid of honor at Priscilla’s wedding in 2019 and is the godmother to her child, Aubriella Marie.
On the other hand, Blanco’s bachelor party took place in Las Vegas at a lavish villa costing $25,000 a night.
Notable attendees are expected to include Paris Hilton and Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars, Martin Short and Steve Martin. Taylor Swift’s attendance remains uncertain, while Meryl Streep, who also stars in the show, might back out at the last minute, according to Page Six.
In a thoughtful gesture, Gomez and Blanco received a gift from PETA, featuring a plant-based version of Blanco’s favorite snack—chips and caviar, described by PETA’s senior VP of communications as an “animal-friendly twist on Benny’s favorite combo.”
With the location and details rigorously protected, all indications suggest an intimate celebration set to create memorable moments for the couple.
