As Bollywood delves deeper into the realm of supernatural heroes within the MHCU, including Varun Dhawan’s werewolf character in Bhediya (2022), audiences are treated to darker yet more comedic narratives. The buzz surrounding Ayushmann’s witty “Vikaspuri ke Wolverine” line has sparked considerable interest online.

Ayushmann’s bond with Varun Dhawan

In a chat with Bollywood Hungama, Ayushmann expressed excitement over audience reactions, particularly how well children received their fight scene. He fondly recalled, “Kids were loving the visuals, especially the fight between Bhediya and Thamma. It was memorable.” Reflecting on his early days, he mentioned, “Varun and I began our journeys in 2012, with my film Vicky Donor and his Student of The Year. He’s an exceptional co-actor and an even better friend.”

Describing their fight sequence, he added, “The choreography was outstanding, and having a co-actor with a sense of rhythm is essential. Fighting, much like dancing, requires a certain flow.”

“Vikaspuri ke Wolverine”

When asked about the now-famous “Vikaspuri ke Wolverine” line, Ayushmann revealed it was a spontaneous creation: “That was my improv. My first job was in Delhi, making it feel like a second home. I wanted to bring that local essence into the line, using alliteration to capture that vibe.”
