Austin Butler Comes to Zoë Kravitz’s Aid Amid Bee Incident at London Premiere
Austin Butler showed his protective side during the UK premiere of their film “Caught Stealing,” intervening to shield his co-star, Zoë Kravitz, from an unexpected visitor—a bee.
As the pair posed for photos, a bee buzzed close to Kravitz’s face, prompting both actors to swat it away. Moments later, the insect shifted its focus to Butler, who calmly observed it before it flew away without causing any harm.

This isn’t Butler’s first encounter with an unruly bee on the red carpet. Previously, he attempted to rescue Emma Stone from a similarly frantic bee during the Cannes Film Festival premiere of “Eddington” in May. In that instance, Stone exhibited visible fear as she ducked to avoid the buzzing insect.
As he continues to promote “Caught Stealing,” Butler takes on the role of Hank, a baseball player turned bartender, navigating the challenging landscape of 1990s New York City’s crime scene. Kravitz plays his love interest, Yvonne, creating a dynamic on-screen chemistry.

As Butler prepares for his role, he revealed to “Men’s Health” that he gained 35 pounds to portray the character’s struggles effectively. He noted, “I actually have a whole section of just baseball players’ asses that [Aronofsky] would send me.” This dedication speaks volumes about his commitment to the film and the character he embodies.
