Ashneer Grover Reveals Bigg Boss 19 Wildcard Offer: ‘Ask Salman Bhai!’
Ashneer Grover’s Bigg Boss 19 Wildcard Invitation Sparks Controversy
Ashneer Grover, former judge on Shark Tank India, has recently made waves by revealing that he was allegedly invited to participate in Bigg Boss 19 as a wildcard contestant. On September 26, he shared a screenshot of an email purportedly from the show’s Senior Casting Coordinator inviting him to join the reality series.
Ashneer’s Email from Bigg Boss Makers
While the email’s authenticity remains unconfirmed, it praised Ashneer’s “dynamic personality” and “engaging social media presence,” marking him as a “strong candidate” for the controversial reality show.
Ashneer, known for his sharp wit, responded to the invitation with sarcasm. He humorously remarked, “Haha! Ask Salman Bhai. I would get free till then. This ‘mail merge’ will take away someone’s job.” This comment referred to the idea that the email might not have been personalized.

Ashneer and Salman Khan’s Ongoing Dispute
This isn’t the first time Ashneer and Salman Khan have had a public spat. Their tensions date back to 2019, when Ashneer sought Salman’s endorsement as a brand ambassador for BharatPe. According to Ashneer, during a photoshoot, he asked to take a picture with the superstar, but Salman’s manager declined, stating that Salman was not comfortable at the time.
The dynamic flared up again recently when Ashneer made an appearance on Bigg Boss 18, where Salman publicly criticized him for comments regarding his fees and public image. Following this, Ashneer took to social media to express his thoughts on the incident and the show’s format.
Closing thoughts: What do you think about Ashneer’s response to the Bigg Boss invitation?
