Recently, these speculations intensified after new images appeared to show them sharing an affectionate moment on a yacht off the Santa Barbara coast.

According to a source talking to The Sun, despite Perry’s busy tour schedule, they have maintained a close connection: “They haven’t been able to spend a lot of time together as she’s on tour, but they’re constantly in contact – always FaceTiming and messaging each other.”

The insider further revealed, “He’s a bit of a geek and can’t believe someone as famous and glamorous as Katy is interested in him, while she feels flattered that such a respected politician wants to date her.”

The images that supposedly feature the couple on the yacht were reportedly taken by a passenger from a tourist boat, who recognized Trudeau by a tattoo on his arm.
