Feeling disillusioned with the seriousness of the industry, Mukhija revealed, “We all started doing this for fun, and now people call it an industry. It was just about talking to a camera; how did it become so serious?”
She shared her desire to retire, stating, “I’m exhausted from the ongoing cycle of content creation. I want to explore other avenues.” While she’s pursuing new projects, she remains open to returning to content creation if those endeavors do not succeed.
This declaration follows her facing backlash earlier this year regarding comments made during an episode of Samay Raina’s India Got Latent, which even caught the attention of the National Commission for Women.
