Heartfelt Tribute from Amitabh Bachchan

On Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan took to his personal blog to share his sorrow over Satish Shah’s untimely demise. He wrote, “Another day, another work, another silence. Another of us has passed away — Satish Shah, a young talent, taken from us too soon. The stars do not favor us… In these grim times, it feels inappropriate to express normalcy… it weighs heavily on all of us.”

Bachchan continued, “We hold onto the age-old saying… ‘but the show must go on’… and so it does. Even amidst sorrow, the essence of normalcy prevails, and life continues to guide us… yet, it feels wrong to strive for normalcy during such times.”

Satish Shah and Amitabh shared the screen in the iconic 1982 film “Shakti,” which also starred legends like Dilip Kumar and Smita Patil. Their collaboration continued in 2008’s “Bhoothnath.”
