The Filmfare Awards held on October 11 was a momentous occasion for the Bachchan family. Three renowned members—Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, and Abhishek Bachchan—secured accolades that night. Amitabh, affectionately called Big B, shared his heartfelt thanks to his fans on social media.
Amitabh’s Message of Gratitude
On Monday, Big B posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) displaying the three awards he received. His heartfelt message in Hindi conveyed, “One family… three members in the same profession… three awards on the same day. 70 years of Filmfare honoring Jaya… Best Actor 2025 for Abhishek… and mine for the 70-year celebration. Jaya, Abhishek, and I feel deep gratitude toward the public. Many, many thanks.”
Fans expressed their admiration in the comments. One wrote, “Acche logon ke sath accha hi hota hai (good things happen to good people). Congratulations Amit ji, Jaya ji, and Abhishek.” Another shared, “GOAT family.” A third remarked, “What a proud moment! Abhishek’s Heartfelt Tribute
During the event, Abhishek honored his father with a special performance. He danced to some of Big B’s beloved songs, causing a wave of nostalgia in the audience. This touching act moved Jaya Bachchan to tears. Later, Abhishek earned the title of Best Actor for his film *I Want To Talk*, sharing the award with Kartik Aaryan, who won for *Chandu Champion*.
Future Endeavors of Amitabh Bachchan
Amitabh is set to make his next appearance in Ribhu Dasgupta’s *Section 84*, alongside Diana Penty, Nimrat Kaur, and Abhishek Banerjee. The release date remains unannounced. Additionally, a sequel to Nag Ashwin’s *Kalki 2898 AD* is in development, featuring stars Prabhas and Kamal Haasan, with filming expected to commence in December. Meanwhile, Big B continues to host the popular quiz show *Kaun Banega Crorepati 17*.
