Was Amanda Seyfried experiencing a case of misplaced luggage?
At the Venice Film Festival 2025, Seyfried surprised everyone by stepping out in an outfit that seemed incredibly familiar. During her photo call for “The Testament Of Ann Lee,” she donned the same Versace ensemble that Julia Roberts wore merely two days earlier.
Roberts and Seyfried: Style Twinning
Julia Roberts, 57, had introduced this stunning look at the event while promoting “After The Hunt.” This outfit marked the debut of new Versace artistic director Dario Vitale’s designs and featured a tailored navy wool jacket, a striped shirt, and classic straight-leg jeans, cinched perfectly with a chic gold-buckled belt.

Not only did both actresses embrace this fashionable piece, but it brings us to the point that Seyfried might be quite taken by Roberts’ style. Interestingly, the two share the same stylist, Elizabeth Stewart.
“Please let me wear the same outfit,” Seyfried playfully commented on Stewart’s Instagram post showcasing Roberts’ look.
Just two days later, Seyfried graced the red carpet in the identical ensemble.

Stewart shared a celebratory post on social media, stating, “Thank you @juliaroberts for your generosity and sustainability. Sharing is caring!” This delightful take on sustainable fashion highlights the positive trend of re-wearing outfits among celebrities.
Styling Choices: A Subtle Distinction
The only noticeable difference in how the outfits were styled was the footwear. Roberts opted for woven leather Versace pumps, while Seyfried chose strappy sandals, adding her own flair to the iconic look.
Elizabeth Stewart isn’t new to this sustainable style trend; her other client, Cate Blanchett, is renowned for frequently re-wearing her red carpet looks. Recently, Blanchett attended the Venice Film Festival premiere of “La Grazia” in a stunning Armani Privé gown that she had previously worn to the 2022 SAG Awards.
