Alison Wonderland has just dropped her latest single, “PSYCHO,” featuring the talents of Erick the Architect.

Describing this release, Wonderland expressed her excitement: “This is a huge collaboration with some of my favourite people in the industry. This song is insane. I can’t believe the label let me make it a single. Trap over everything.”

Upcoming Album "Ghost World"

“PSYCHO” marks the fourth release from her eagerly awaited album, Ghost World, which is scheduled to launch on October 3rd through EMI Music Australia. The album has been co-written and co-produced by Alison and Dylan Ragland (known for his work with Party Favor and SIDEPIECE) and was mastered by Dale Becker, who has collaborated with artists like Billie Eilish and SZA. It also includes previously released singles such as “Get Started,” “Again? F—.,” and “iwannaliveinadream.”

In reflecting on the themes of the album, Wonderland shared her thoughts: “I often feel like I’m wandering this earth trying to find my home, both artistically and personally. Sometimes it feels like the search will never end. I want people to know that while you’re on that search, there is a place of refuge here for you, with us, in Ghost World.”

A Grateful Artist

“I am forever grateful for the people who listen to my music and allow me to continue to create, to exorcize complicated feelings and emotions through my art and – yes – my ego death haha. I am only here because you are,” she added.

Facing Challenges

Recently, Alison faced backlash online for sharing lighthearted backstage photos with her friend and collaborator Shaquille O’Neal at Arizona’s Aftershock festival. Pregnant with her second child, she addressed the sexualized comments, shedding light on the double standards women in the music industry frequently encounter.

With four performances at Coachella under her belt, including a historic set in 2018 as the highest-billed female DJ, she also headlined the “Temple of Wonderland” at Red Rocks Amphitheatre multiple times. “I’m a perfectionist,” Alison noted. “It sits with me and haunts me anytime I make anything. I think it’s why I push myself so hard.”
