Alex Warren’s 'Ordinary' Sets New Record on Australian Music Charts

## Alex Warren’s Remarkable Success on the ARIA Chart

Alex Warren’s journey on the ARIA Chart has been anything but mundane. As of July 18th, his triple-platinum track “Ordinary,” released under Warner Music, continues to dominate the national singles chart.

### A Milestone at No. 1

“Ordinary” has achieved an impressive 17-week run at the top, marking the longest reign by an international solo artist on the ARIA Chart. This achievement ties with “Stay,” the collaboration between The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber, but there’s a crucial difference: Warren’s hit has maintained its unbroken streak, while “Stay” secured its 17 weeks in two segments—14 weeks in 2021 and three in 2022, according to ARIA.

### Historical Context

Only one other track has spent more time at No. 1 in ARIA’s extensive history: Tones and I’s “Dance Monkey,” which achieved 24 non-consecutive weeks at the top in 2019 and 2020.

### Global Impact

Warren’s “Ordinary” also made waves internationally, completing a groundbreaking 12-week stretch at No. 1 on the Official UK Chart. This marks the longest consecutive reign for a US artist in history, surpassing records established since the mid-1950s. Additionally, it currently holds its sixth week at No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

### Upcoming Australian and New Zealand Tour

Originally from California, Warren is set to embark on his first tour of Australia and New Zealand next month, promoting his new album, *You’ll Be Alright, Kid*.

#### Tour Schedule

The Australian leg of his *Cheaper Than Therapy Global Tour 2025*, produced by Frontier Touring, kicks off on August 18th in Auckland and concludes on August 28th in Perth.
