During a recent award event, Akshay, when asked by host Shah Rukh Khan for advice for newcomers, stated, “Never sign a three-film deal with any producer.” He emphasized learning from Aryan’s experiences, hinting at challenges faced by first-time actors.

Akshay elaborated, “If you’ve seen The Ba***ds of Bollywood, you’d understand the hurdles a debutant might encounter. It’s important not to restrict their freedom. It’s often said, ‘let them go, if they are meant for you, they’ll return.’” His insights brought laughter from Shah Rukh and co-host Karan Johar.

Reflecting on his career, Akshay mentioned his film selection approach. “I believe that money attracts money, and likewise, good work attracts success. Sometimes, I might prefer a film’s story even if my role is minor,” he remarked.

Discipline and Longevity

Akshay highlighted discipline as crucial for sustaining a career in the industry. “Master that aspect, and you can thrive here for many years,” he advised.

About The Ba***ds of Bollywood

Aryan Khan’s debut series on Netflix features Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, and Anya Singh, among others.

The series follows Aasmaan Singh, a promising newcomer whose debut in a Karan Johar film leads to unexpected challenges. A three-film contract, familial interferences, and emerging romances test his determination and career goals.
